Chloe Ellis

A recreation of a childhood memory, created in the form of a short story, to make up an 8 page book. My favourite childhood memory is the holiday that my family took to Disney World, Florida, in 2004.

I created my images with black and white linework that was scanned and further edited in photoshop, adding colour to the drawings, with a paintbrush effect to relate to the illustrative styles of children’s books.

The first version I created was accompanied by simple text to tell the story.

The second version conveys the story through the use of rhyming sentences, again to match the story-telling style of children’s books.
